UPR43: Denmark gives UPR-recommendations to Israel

Mr. President,
Denmark warmly welcomes the delegation of Israel and thanks Israel for its engagement in the UPR-process.
Denmark would like to put forward the following three recommendations:
1. Put an end to all current and future settlements in the occupied Palestinian territory.
2. Ensure that civil society, including human rights defenders, can operate freely and without obstacles.
3. Ratify the Optional Protocol to the Convention against Torture and other Cruel, Inhuman or Degrading Treatment or Punishment.
Denmark wishes Israel a most successful review.
